THE HEART OF THE PROGRAM

The Cow Herd

Pretty bulls get the attention, but the cowherd is where a reputation is actually built. Ours is a maternal, fescue-run set of females bred to do the job without fanfare.

Great herds are built on great cows.

MATERNAL BY DESIGN
Cows That Earn Their Keep

Every female here is asked the same questions every year: did she breed back, did she stay sound, did she raise a good calf? The ones that answer right stay. The ones that don’t, leave. That simple standard, held for 25 years, is what built this herd.

They calve on grass, run on fescue, and get culled by the country as much as by us — which is exactly why they hold up for the commercial cattlemen who buy our genetics.

THE CALF CROP

Bred to repeat.

A uniform, deep-bodied calf crop is the proof a cowherd is doing its job. These are the heifers we’ll keep and the bulls our customers will use.
